Illamasqua Powder Blusher Duo in Lover & Hussy - £26

I am a huge fan of Illamasqua. With one of my idols, Alex Box being the creative director, I know when I buy a product from Illamasqua, I won’t be disappointed. Which is why I didn’t mind splurging on this little beauty! This blusher duo comes in sleek (and very sturdy) black packaging with a mirror inside which I find very handy. It consists of two dreamy colours. 'Lover' is officially described as a 'soft apricot' and 'Hussy' is described as a 'candy pink'. You only need the tiniest amount of product to give your cheeks a healthy flush of colour. Both colours are super pigmented so I can see this product lasting for a very long time, I’ve already had mine for a few months! 

Lover gives a very subtle peachy glow when applied lightly and doesn’t look as scary on the skin as it does in the pan, this colour works beautifully with pale porcelain skin and tanned complexions. If you like MAC’s peaches blush, you’re going to love this one!

Hussy is a very versatile colour. I give my cheeks a light dusting of this and it gives a very ‘english rose’ kind of look but if I build up the colour you can really see more of the bright and beautiful pink hues. I actually really like mixing both Lover and Hussy together to give a bright coral flush of colour to my cheeks, perfect for summer!

Overall I am very pleased with this product as its pigmentation really pays off and the colour lasts on my skin. It’s versatile, you can go for a slight pop of colour or really build up the intensity to suit your style. Once again Illamasqua you’ve swept me off of my feet. What do you think of this duo?
